Introduction

Welcome to Lily Pad English! By using our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline your rights and responsibilities as a student participating in our Online English Lessons, Private Tutoring Lessons, In-Person English Speaking Events, and Online English Speaking Events.

Services Provided

Lily Pad English offers the following services:

-Personalized Online English Lessons
– Private Tutoring Lessons
– In-Person English Speaking Events
– Online English Speaking Events
– Online English courses
– Level Tests
– Textbooks (physical and/or online)

Commitment to Lesson Times

– Once a lesson, schedule, or event is booked, the student must attend at the specified time.
– The reserved lesson slot is dedicated exclusively to the student and cannot be transferred to another participant.
– If a student commits to a lesson or event and fails to attend, the session will be forfeited without a refund.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

– No refunds will be provided for missed lessons or events, as resources and preparations are allocated to each student.
– In unforeseen circumstances, students may request a make-up lesson at the teacher’s discretion and subject to availability.
– If a make-up lesson cannot be arranged, no refund will be issued.

Make-Up Lessons

– Make-up lessons are subject to the teacher’s availability and must be scheduled in advance.
– If a suitable time cannot be arranged, no refund will be given.

Teacher Absence

– If the teacher is unable to conduct a scheduled lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up lesson will be arranged.
– If no mutual agreement is reached on a new lesson time, the missed lesson will not be charged.

Event Booking

– In-person and online events must be booked in advance.
– No refunds will be provided for event cancellations.
– Students may transfer their booking to a future event if they notify Lily Pad English at least 48 hours before the event (subject to availability).

Scheduling, Payments, and Pricing

– Lessons must be scheduled in advance.
– Payments are required before lessons commence.
– Prices are subject to change annually due to inflation rates.

Code of Conduct

To maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, students must:

– Arrive on time for lessons and events.
– Treat teachers and fellow students with respect.
– Participate actively and maintain a positive attitude towards learning.
– Refrain from any disruptive behavior.

Liability Limitation

Lily Pad English is not responsible for any technical issues affecting online lessons, including but not limited to internet disruptions, software malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

– All personal information provided to Lily Pad English will be kept confidential and used only for communication and administrative purposes.
– We do not share student information with third parties without consent.
– Lily Pad English may utilize class materials and video recordings for marketing purposes; however, prior permission from the student will be required before any such documentation or recordings are used.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting payment, you expressly agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is legally binding. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not proceed with payment.
